The Principle

Marriage is best defined as between one man and one woman. This basic building block of civil society deserves the protection of law.

The Challenge

Recent changes in New Hampshire state law have created confusion around the legal definition of marriage and whether the state supports marriage as defined by one man and one woman. Citizens were not given any opportunity to vote on the changes the General Court enacted regarding marriage and family law.

The Solution

Support our efforts to amend the New Hampshire Constitution to define marriage as only between one man and one woman. This amendment will ensure that the State of New Hampshire will protect marriage. The public vote required to amend the state constitution will also ensure that the people's voice is heard on this critical issue.
